Albany -- The investigation into the death of a 3-year-old Albany boy continues Saturday night.

The autopsy of 3-year-old Shondarius Roney was completed Saturday afternoon, but investigators say they're not ready to release the results yet.

Police were called out to 2216-A South Jackson street Friday around 10:00 AM where they found the 3-year-old unresponsive. He was pronounced dead 30 minutes later at the hospital.

The initial 9-1-1 call indicated he drowned in a bathtub. The little boy was at home with his mother's boyfriend, 18-year-old Vincent Soilberry.

He isn't charged in the child's death, but he is in police custody on a previously-issued trespassing warrant.

The child's mother, Shaquita Bell, was not home at the time. Investigators hope to have this investigation resolved soon.
