Tifton --  A Georgia congressional candidate wraps up a four-day listening tour with a swing through South Georgia.

Rick Goddard, who's running in the 8th Congressional District, stopped in Tifton Friday.      The retired Air Force general said he's uncomfortable with the direction in which the nation is headed.

Goddard spent the week talking with voters to find out what issues are important to them.

"We have a different vision of America; what America is about. I certainly believe in individual responsibility and accountability," Goddard said.

Goddard is unopposed in the Republican primary. He'll face either Democratic incumbent Representative Jim Marshall or his Democrat challenger Robert Nowak in November.
