Lee County-  The Lee County grand jury holds a 22 year old Lee County man responsible for the death of his friend.

Matt Blankenship was indicted on involuntary manslaughter, reckless conduct, and concealing a death. In November, Blankenship drove around with a barely conscious Jarrod Wills in his car after the two took prescription drugs.

Instead of taking Wills to the hospital, Blankenship left him at his Fussell Road home. Authorities now say Wills died as a result of an overdose of methadone and not Xanax as initially thought.

T.J. Jackson who sold the two Xanax however was still indicted for selling prescription drugs. Wills' body was found the next day on the floor of his Fussell Road home by Lee County Deputies who were called to check on him.

Blankenship is being held at the Lee County Jail.
