Thomasville-- Hillmar Patterson was sentenced to prison this week for selling cocaine. A co-defendant testified against Patterson.
Kevin Lee, Narcotics/Vice Division Commander for the Thomas County Sheriff's Office said, "What was happening here was Patterson was actually preying or using the co-defendant, knowing that he's an addict, he would use the co-defendant's residence to covert powder cocaine into crack cocaine and then he would give the co-defendant small amounts of crack cocaine."
Agents say Patterson had 15 grams of powder cocaine on him when he was arrested. He was sentenced to 20 years in prison and 10 years parole.
