Albany -- A Building Contractor qualifies to run for Dougherty County Commissioner Tuesday morning.
With his wife and friends by his side, Harry James filled out the election forms to run for District Five. James is the owner of James Unlimited, and has been a building contractor for 28 years.
This is his first run for political office in Dougherty County, where he has lived for a dozen years.
James says he has a vision of ways to improve Dougherty County. James said "job opportunities, educational opportunities, as well making sure we have good roads, and drainage issues and (other) problems throughout the county."
James will oppose incumbent Commissioner Art Searles in the Democratic Party Primary election July 15th.
