Valdosta - Nearly 200 airmen from Moody Air Force Base were welcomed home from Iraq Tuesday.
The airmen are part of the 823rd Security Force Squadron and have been away from their families for six months.
They were deployed to Camp Bucca and provided security to convoys, prisoner transport and base security.
The airmen will have at least six months with their families before they'll be deployed overseas again.
