Albany - An Albany Pastor announced his bid for re-election to the Dougherty County Board of Education. Democrat James Bush qualified Monday morning.
Bush was a congressional aid for Congressman Charles Hatcher and served on the Dougherty County Police force and on the Dougherty County Commission.
He says he wants to continue to serve the young people in the county. "I served on the Dougherty County Commission and am a Vietnam veteran. I am running for District 5 school board seat. And I've enjoyed working for our young people," said Bush.
James Bush is running to keep the District five seat on the School Board.
