Albany -- The South Georgia Wildcats lost at home against their biggest rival, falling 51-41 Saturday night.
The Wildcats held a 21-20 lead after the first half, but four turnovers would be the teams downfall in the second.
Florida (4-0) now has a commanding lead over South Georgia (3-2) in the American South division, but the teams will meet twice more this season.
The Wildcats are back on the road next week, as they travel to face Austin.
