April 25, 2008

Albany -- You can help victims of South Georgia disasters, and enjoy a fun show while doing it.

Swamp Gravy, the Official Folk Life Play of Georgia, will perform their newest play "Reunion" on May 3rd at the Albany Municipal Auditorium, to raise money for the Southwest Georgia Chapter of the American Red Cross.

Southwest Georgia American Red Cross Exec. Director Mari McEwen said " this is a wonderful opportunity for us to raise money for all the disasters and different things we handle for people in our area. And the money will be used by our local chapter."

The Swamp Gravy performance will be May 3 at the Albany Municipal Auditorium at 7PM. The tickets are $20, and you can get them at the Red Cross office on Pine Avenue.
