Albany --  A Sylvester man is in critical condition after a car crash early Monday morning on Clark Avenue in Dougherty County, just a few miles from where a woman was killed early Saturday morning.

Forty-seven-year-old Roy Lee Strawder was seriously injured about 2:40AM. His 1995 Ford Explorer went airborne for 60 feet, then slid on on its side for almost another 100 feet.

Strawder's car was headed east near Pine Bluff Road when it ran off Clark Avenue, went back into the median, and crashed.

Early Saturday morning, 28-year old Shavone Denise Childs was killed in a single car crash on Clark Avenue when her car went off the road and hit a tree.
