    Work is now underway to widen about two, and half miles of Carpenter Road in Tifton.When construction is complete, there will be two lanes of traffic in each direction, plus a center turn lane with curbs and gutters on both sides of the road.Drivers are encouraged to use an alternate route.The work is expected to be complete in October.Copyright 2014 WALB. Moultrie-  Moultrie Police are asking for the community's help to find man for questioning about a shooting. Police want you to help them locate this man, Lavosky Hopkins.

Hopkins may be in Thomasville, Pelham, or Moultrie. Hopkins was supposed to meet with police this morning, but never showed up. He's wanted for questioning in the Wednesday morning shooting of 35 year old Cecil White.

White originally went to the police station early Wednesday morning asking for help, but left before an officer arrive. White was later found shot in the leg in the 400 block of 8th Street SW.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Moultrie Police.
