Moultrie-  A Moultrie man was shot Wednesday morning after leaving the Police Department.

Police say 35 year old Celious Deleon White stopped at the police department asking for help. White was told he would have to wait for an officer to stop by the station, but left before officers arrived.

Just before 3:00 a.m., police were called to the 400 block of 8th Street SW where they found White shot in the leg.

White is at the Colquitt Regional Medical Center. Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call Moultrie Police.
