Deerfield opens new soccer field with a win

Albany -- The Deerfield-Windsor girls soccer team beat Sherwood Christian Academy 8-0 in the Lady Knights first home game on their new home field.

Shelby Cosby led DWS with four goals.

The Deerfield baseball team beat the Eagles 14-4 at SCA.

At the college level, Darton jumped out to a 8-1 lead, but fell 9-8 at home against ABAC.

Valdosta State crushed Armstrong Atlantic 16-3 in Savannah.

Georgia SouthWestern lost 16-3 at home against Columbus State.
