Valdosta - As Valdosta enjoys rapid growth, enrollment is also growing at Valdosta Technical College.
With nearly 2300 students, enrollment is up 10% from last spring quarter.
Administrators attribute the growth to school accreditation, new programs and new manufacturers moving to town.
With no signs of slowing down the college is setting some major goals.
"We have a goal of a 20 percent increase in our enrollment by 2010 which would mean about another 500 students," says Interim President Toth.
The college plans to keep adding new programs to the curriculum to help them meet that goal and continue positive growth.
