Valdosta - Congressman Jack Kingston says he expects subcontractors who lost millions of dollars in the failed Moody Housing project to get their money in the next few months.
Kingston met with Air Force Officials Thursday.
He says now that a letter of intent has been signed by the Hunt Pinnacle Group to purchase the projects from the Carabetta Group, the project is one step closer to getting back underway.
The subcontractors walked off the project last year when the Carabetta Group failed to pay them nearly $10 million.
Kingston says he hopes they'll be paid this fall.
The Department of Justice and FBI are also getting involved and hope to uncover any criminal fraud.
