Albany -- An Albany Police Investigator will be demoted for looking at pornography on his work computer at the Law Enforcement Center.

An investigation found that Lt. James Jackson, a 23 year veteran of the Albany Police Department, violated city policy by accessing adult web sites on his work computer.

Chief James Younger issued a notice that Jackson will be demoted to Sergeant. Police officials say an anonymous complaint initiated the investigation., which they say is still ongoing.

Jackson is still working in the Investigations Division.
