Dougherty County-  A Worth County woman was taken to the hospital with injuries after her car was struck when she pulled into oncoming traffic.

It happened Tuesday morning in the eastbound lanes of Highway 82 at County Line Road.

Dougherty County Police say 24 year old Crystal Still's view was blocked by a Department of Transportation crew working on the highway shoulder and another truck. She started to enter the Highway from County Line Road and was struck in the side by a H-D Supply truck she couldn't see coming.

"It's always best to wait and make sure that everything is clear and look both ways before entering even after stopping and it's best to make sure everything is clear because a vehicle could be passing another vehicle which from a distance may be clear," said Lt. Kenneth Johnson, Dougherty County Police.

Still will likely be charged with failure to yield.
