Albany -- An Albany woman is charged with drunk driving after she crashed through a Dougherty County park, causing thousands of dollars in damages.

Police say 24-year old Sonjolette Ellis drove through three fences and a building at Robert Cross Park on Martin Luther King Junior Drive around 4 Sunday morning.

She hit two picnic tables, two poles, and a water spigot before she crashed into this pavilion, knocking down one of its huge support poles. Ellis kept going through the pavilion and another fence.

Her car broke down about a half mile away, that's where Police arrested her.

County supervisors say there is at least two thousand dollars in damage.
