Tifton-  Preliminary autopsy results show a Tift County inmate died from a fall. Tifton Police say 39-year old James "Tony" Harrell's initial autopsy revealed he died as a result of head trauma suffered when he fell off a garbage truck.

Harrell was on a work detail March 17th. Investigators think he may have fainted and fallen off a sanitation rear loader dump truck. He died at a Macon hospital March 25th.

Family members still think Harrell's death may have been caused by a fight at the jail before he went to the work detail. Full autopsy results are expected in two weeks.
