Cordele -- A Cordele teenager was found dead in his home Wednesday, apparently the victim of an accidental hanging.

Family members found the body of 16-year-old Deandreous Riley inside an apartment in the 600 block of West 22nd Avenue around 12:30 Wednesday afternoon.

The case remains under investigation, but Cordele Police say it appears to be an accident and they don't think anyone else was involved.

Riley's body will likely be sent to the crime lab for an autopsy.
