Moultrie --  Someone is passing fake one hundred dollar bills in the Moultrie area, even at Moultrie City Hall.

Whoever is passing the counterfeit money got more than $70.00 in real change from the Sonic restaurant on First Avenue Southeast. The general manager told us he bought money markers to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Someone tried to pass fake money at City Hall and a gas station but took off when employees realized the money was fake.

Police have not made any arrests.
