Moultrie -- Officers with the Moultrie/Colquitt County Drug Team found 16 plants outside the home of 24-year-old Jason Robert Rhodes Saturday evening.

Rhodes was pulled over in Thomas County where officers found a marijuana plant in his vehicle.

He then told officers he had more plants at home.  "Thomas County authorities got with us, with our drug unit, and told us what he had said, then went back out there and found a number of growing plants. Majority of them were growing outside in containers," said Lt. Jerry Green of the Moultrie/Colquitt Drug Enforcement Unit.

A small amount of high grade marijuana was also found inside inside Rhodes' home.   He was charged with manufacturing marijuana.

The plants found in the home have an estimated street value of $16,000.
