Thomasville-- An historic home in Thomasville will re-open Tuesday night. The Lapham-Patterson House is not only a popular historic attraction for the area, it's also a national landmark.
Daily tours are normally offered, but it's been closed since September for renovations. Sheryl Walters, Curator for the Lapham-Patterson House says, "The entire inside was re-plastered where it needed it, and re-painted and it just looks so clean and fresh. And we're going to be open for a long time, we promise to be open for a long time, no more closings."
The party starts at 5:30 Tuesday night. Everyone is invited out for champagne to celebrate the re-opening.
