A man involved in indoor marijuana operation could face life in prison

Columbus-  Another suspect in a multi-county, three state indoor marijuana growing operation appears before a federal judge.

Riley Trey McDaniel made his initial appearance before Judge Mallon Faircloth Tuesday afternoon in Columbus.

McDaniel is charged with conspiracy to manufacture marijuana more than a thousand plants. McDaniel is accused of operating grow houses in Cobb and Cherokee Counties. McDaniel was operating in conjunction with houses in Terrell and Lee Counties.

Prosecutors say because McDaniel has two previous drug offenses he could face a mandatory life sentence.
