Athens -Georgia will wrap up spring practices with Saturday's G-Day game at Sanford Stadium.
One player ready for the 2008 season is former Tift County Blue Devil Israel Troupe.
Georgia redshirted the talented receiver last season.
Troupe, who is also practicing with the Georgia baseball team this spring, is hoping to earn some playing time in what looks like will be an extremely talented Bulldog receiving corps.
While Troupe didn't play on Saturdays his first year in Athens, he did learn a lot going against the first team Bu lldog defense as a scout team receiver.
Israel Troupe said "I have been looking forward to it all season. Redshirting is not a bad thing. It helps you get better. And that is what I look at it as a time to get better. I am looking forward to getting my chance this year."
The G-Day game starts at 2:00 p.m. at Sanford Stadium this Saturday.
