Albany -- Even with the resignation of South Coast League CEO Jamie Toole Monday, it's business as usual for the South Georgia Peanuts.
Amid speculation the four-team league may suspend the season or fold, the Peanuts continue their day-to-day operations.
South Georgia is still planning to hold an open tryout April 12th, and preparing Replica Championship Rings to give away for the home opener.
Peanuts general manager Deanna Davis says she still believes in the product, and is looking forward to the season, despite some changes.
"Just like any CEO who resigns, it obviously has an initial impact, but you just move forward," says Davis. "The league is going to look for a replacement, but day-to-day operations continue."
The Peanuts are scheduled to open the season May 15th at Macon.
