Valdosta - Legislation that will promote sales of Georgia made products is one step closer to becoming law.

A "Made in Georgia" bill passed in the House of Representatives.

It was introduced by Senator Tim Golden of Valdosta and would stamp the Made in Georgia logo on all products manufactured in the state.

Golden hopes it will help boost sales of Georgia made products as well as promote awareness of the importance the manufacturing industry plays in state's economy.

It previously passed the senate and is now headed to the governor for his signature.
