Woman rescues baby from burning house

Dougherty County  -- A Dougherty County woman rescued her baby from a burning house Monday.

 30 year old Camletta Blocker told Firefighters she was cooking at her home on Twin Flowers Road about 5 o-clock, when it flared up. Blocker suffered second and third degree burns on her arm.

Blocker told Firefighters she had to run outside and around the house and go through the front door to rescue her ten day old baby girl.

 Paramedics treated the baby at the scene. Blocker was taken to the hospital for treatment and released.
