Lake Buena Vista, Fl. - Atlanta Braves centerfielder Mark Kotsay knows fans will compare him this season to his predecessor Andruw Jones.
Kotsay knows you don't just replace a Gold Glove winner like Andruw Jones.
Kotsay may not have the range of Andruw Jones but hisarm will keep opponents from taking extra bases this season.
No outfielder has more assists in the last ten years than Mark Kotsay.
Changing teams always requires adjustments for any baseball player and Kotsay knows that will be the case with fellow Brave outfielders Jeff Francouer and Matt Diaz.
Mark Kotsay said "Learn each other's routes. Learn each other's capabilities out there as far as gap coverage. It is an adjustment. We will get through it."
Mark Kotsay played with Florida and San Diego before he was traded to Oakland in 2003.
The Braves got him from the Athletics for pitchers Joey Devine and Jamie Richmond.
