Albany -- Shots were fired early Sunday morning at an East Albany night spot.
An officer patrolling the area around Big Daddy's Lounge on East Broad Avenue heard the shots around 3:00 AM and saw people running away in a panic.
Albany Police arrested 21-year-old Laquandria Jones in connection with the incident.
Several witnesses told police they saw Jones with the gun, but when police searched her home they didn't find it. No shell casings were found at the scene either.
Right now, Jones is charged with aggravated assault for hitting another woman with a beer bottle. The victim was treated at Phoebe for a one inch cut to the face. The case is still under investigation.
