Baconton-- The senior class members of Baconton Charter School's academic bowl team has won a lot of trophies the last few years.  They recently earned their most prestigious title, the Class A state championship. "We took our varsity team to Dacula and competed all afternoon, and they came away undefeated and they brought home the first varsity state championship for Baconton Charter School" said Coach Gabe Council.

Team Captain Anna Cramer said, "To actually win state our senior year just shows that all the hard work that we've put into it actually paid off, and we're really excited about that. It was worth the trip." Anna and her teammates took part in 20 competitions during their high school career. They were state runners-up last year.
