Valdosta -- The luck of the Irish was not with Valdosta State on St. Patrick's Day.
The Blazers led the First Federal Southeastern Collegiate golf tournament at Kinderlou Forest by three strokes after the first round, but struggled on a windy Day 2 of the tournament.
VSU is now tied for third, 12 shots behind leader Florida Southern.
The Blazers Brent Witcher was the first round leader after a 5-under par 67, but a 74 in the second round has the junior one shot off the pace at 3 under.
The Blazers Jason Flowers is nine over par for the tournament, Chad Smith is eleven over.
