Thomasville Police are looking for two men who attempted to rob a store, scaring customers and clerks.
Adel - An Adel City Councilman is banned from the Cook County Board of Education for his involvement in a fist fight with a board member. He now plans to take civil action against the school board.
Police were called out to the board of education building Wednesday afternoon where reports say Assistant Superintendent Lance Heard and Mayor Pro Tem Gregory Paige got into a fist fight.
Paige says the fight broke out during a meeting to discuss some complaints from his constituents.
Both men told police they were pushed first.
Paige was issued a criminal trespass warning until the situation is resolved.
The report has now been passed on to a judge to determine if charges will be filed.
