Dougherty County -- Air conditioner thieves hit another Dougherty County church over the weekend. This time, the took the air conditioning unit from The New Life of Albany Church on Cordele Road.

Police aren't sure when the theft happened but it was discovered Saturday. This is the third church in about a two mile area of Cordele Road that's been targeted.

Investigators suspect it is the work of the same thieves, who are re-selling the air conditioners.

Police are warning churches to keep an eye on their buildings, and ask if you see trucks coming or going from churches at odd times to report their tag numbers to Police.
