Area wrestlers in youth state championships

Albany -- Area wrestlers ages ten and under competed in the Little Kids Wrestling State Championship over the weekend in Gwinnett County.

Wrestlers from Leesburg, Tifton, Moultrie, Pelham, and Cairo were on the mats with 99 other teams from around the state.

Mason Turner of the Tift County Mat Masters captured a state championship, the fifth of his career.

Dylan Deas of Team Xtreme Leesburg making it to the quarterfinals of the 8-and-under division.
