Albany -- Albany Police are on the lookout for two men who robbed a south Albany grocery store at gunpoint.

Police say two men entered Daylight Groceries on 1942 South Jackson Street just before 2 Saturday morning.

One man pointed a gun at the clerk and demanded money.

Both robbers then ran from the store after getting their hands on the cash register tray and other items.

The clerk told police he heard 4 or 5 gunshots in the air as they ran down an alley behind the store.

Police say both suspects are black men - one wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt - the other wearing a long black coat and brown pants.

Anyone with information is asked to call Albany Police.
