Blazers pull out overtime win

Southhaven, Ms. - Valdosta State's Jamahl Stokes layup with :40 seconds remaining in overtime gave the Blazers a one point lead.

Stephan Walton added a free throw as the Blazers beat Ouachita Baptist 81-79 in the first round of the Gulf South Conference tournament.

Walton led the Blazers with 21 points and Devario Hudson scored 19.

Valdosta State plays Harding in the semifinals on Saturday night.
