Crisp County-  A five hour chase through three counties ended in Sumter County with the arrest of a Cobb man.

Marcus Brewer is charged in Crisp County with attempted burglary, fleeing and attempting to elude, and speeding. A neighbor spotted Brewer trying to break into a home at 182 Pinecrest Drive Tuesday.

When a Crisp County deputy arrived, Brewer fled. Law enforcement chased him at speeds of 80 miles per hour through the rain. He wrecked the stolen car on Fish Road in Sumter County and ran.

After tracking Brewer across the Lee County and Sumter County line deputies finally arrested him behind a woman's home. Brewer could also face charges in Sumter County.
