Dawson -- The Terrell County girls basketball team is 28-1, ranked #1 in the state, and riding a 19-game winning streak into the state semifinals.
The Lady Waves are back in the Final Four for the first time since they won the title in 2005, and will face Southwest Atlanta Christian Wednesday.
The Lady Warriors have been to the semifinals each of the past two seasons, winning it all in 2006.
The current crop of Greenwave seniors were freshman the last time Terrell County played in the big dance, and head coach Tammye Jenkins says that experience should be a big help.
"Knowing that we've been there before, been to that same coliseum, and those same situations game-wise, I think it may be an advantage to us," says Jenkins.
Terrell County takes on Southwest Atlanta Christian Wednesday at 4pm at the Macon Centreplex.
