Climax -- The streets of Climax came to a halt Saturday morning, as the city honored native son and Super Bowl hero James Butler with a parade.
Fans lined up along Broad Street, as the parade progressed to the Swine Time Grounds.
The Giants Safety led the way, waving to the crowd from the back of a Corvette convertible.
His parents James Butler Senior and Nadine followed behind in a classic Mustang.
The parade continued with fans and supporters of the former Bainbridge standout, following behind.
The strong turnout suggestted anyone not watching the parade, was in the parade.
James Butler had a team-high and career-best eleven tackles in New York's upset win over the Patriots in the Super Bowl.
Twice named first-team All ACC at Georgia Tech, Butler is the first Climax-native to play in the big game.
