Lee County -- The quiet apartment community along Winding Way could only watch in disbelief after learning that one of their neighbors was murdered.

"It makes you want to be sure to lock your doors at night. It's kind of scary," said neighbor Jason Oliver.

Family members of 23 year old Nicole Judge cried as the young woman's body was removed from her apartment.

GBI agents worked into the night gathering evidence from inside the apartment.  While investigators have yet to name a suspect or even a person of interest, crime scene technicians remained at the apartment Saturday hoping that forensic evidence will yield more information.

According to neighbors, Judge was the mother of young daughters, but investigators would not tell us if any children were in the home when deputies discovered her body.

Investigators haven't said when or how she was killed.

Right now, investigators are asking for the publics help with this case. If you have any information you are asked to call the Lee County Sheriff's Office.

This case is the second homicide this year in Lee County.
