A Lowndes County man is behind bars after deputies uncovered nearly half a million dollars of marijuana.
Thomasville-- You can take a walk through centuries of history. Thomas University's campus was turned into a virtual history timeline. Students visited stations to learn about history from prehistoric eras to the pilgrims' days to the civil war.
April Penton, a TU Professor, said "When you see it and you participate in it, your brain absolutely remembers it better than if you just look at it in a book. So it's a much broader learning experience."
Organizers say parents will have just as much fun as their kids. That's why the event is open to the whole community Saturday on the TU campus.
