    Some folks in South Georgia frantically tried to get in touch with loved ones who live near the destruction in Oklahoma. Leesburg's Wendy Mathis has a brother who lives in Oklahoma City and works in Bethany, just 10 miles north of Moore. Albany native Liz Barfield recently relocated to a city nearby Moore, Oklahoma.

Americus-  An Americus man is on trial for a deadly nightclub shooting.  Chavis Neal is charged with opening fire at the Americus Elk's Lodge in July 2006. 

Three people were wounded and Dekeildric Thornton was killed.

Prosecutors say Neal opened fire from a car after an argument during a D.J. Nightclub show. Witnesses say more than 300 people were at the club that night. The trial will continue WEednesday.
