Vandals strike Monroe High

February 24, 2008

Albany -- Police are on the lookout for a group of vandals that broke into Monroe High School and left a big mess.

Police say 4 or 5 vandals entered the school around midnight Saturday.

Cleaning crews were at the school Sunday afternoon where the vandals discharged two fire extinguishers and poured lotion on the hallway floor.

Fortunately no structure damage was reported but the fire extinguishers will have to be replaced.

Chief Troy Conley with Dougherty County School Police said the suspects were captured on surveillance camera.

If anyone has information you are asked to contact the Dougherty County School Police at 229-431-1812.
