Lee County-  Tuesday night, Lee County Commissioners accepted a large donation for the County Recreation Department.

The county currently has softball fields and walking trails at the Kinchafoonee Recreation Complex. Tonight they'll receive a check for $22,000 from the Cheshire family for a playground.

"A family in the community is going to donate a considerable amount of money to the county to develop a very nice playground at the Kinchafoonee Recreation Complex," said Alan Ours, Lee County Administrator.

The Cheshire family donated the money in memory of their daughter Kelly who died last year. Kelly Cheshire is country singer Luke Bryant's sister.
