Valdosta - Police in Valdosta are looking for a man who shot and wounded another man Monday night.

25-year old Andre Morrison was shot in the leg during a fight on Jones Street around 11:00 Monday night.

He's recovering and now police are looking for the gunman.

"We have a good idea who the shooter is. Detectives are working on that right now and following up any leads as we speak and we hope to have this case wrapped up pretty quickly," says Lt. Bobbi McGraw.

They are asking anyone who may have information regarding the shooting to please call the Valdosta Police Department at 229-293-3145 or the crime tip line at 229-293-3091.
