Cordele -- Crisp County High School was locked down this morning because administrators worried about retaliation after a shooting.

Thursday night, a 16-year old was shot in the leg at Morningside Homes in Cordele.

Friday morning, His brother, 17-year-old Deon Dempsey, began fighting with the suspected shooter on a school bus.

School officials ordered a lockdown and searched students as they got to school to head off any other problems.

Dempsey is charged with making terroristic threats and simple battery.

The 16-year old he was fighting is charged with aggravated assault in the shooting.

Police say that none of the incidents took place at the school and that more arrests may be forthcoming in the next few days.
