Flowery Branch - Former South Georgia Wildcat Antwone Savage hopes the third time is the charm to make it in the Arena Football League.
Savage, who was released by the Chicago Rush a few weeks ago, has signed a two year contract with the Georgia Force.
Antwone, who was an all AF2 player last year in Spokane, says he was victim of the numbers game in Chicago.
Savage says the Rush released him at the start of camp to give the former Oklahoma Sooner time to find another team to play.
Savage says he is thrilled that chance comes with the AFL team that is so close to his family in Albany.
The Georgia Force will open the regular season on March 1st at the Gwinnett Center against Dallas.
