Bainbridge - A Bainbridge teen drops dead while attempting to run from police.

Investigators say 19 year-old Robert Cheatem Junior was running from the King West Apartments after Bainbridge public safety officers were dispatched to the apartment to answer a domestic dispute call.

They say Cheatem had grabbed his girlfriends car keys on his way out but when the car was found sitting in front of the apartment, law enforcers began to search the neighborhood.

They found Cheatem dead on the sidewalk just a few blocks away.

They say family members reported Cheatem had a heart problem.

No word yet if an autopsy will be performed.
