Albany -- Talk about a busy day-- Florists have been working at a maddening pace on this Valentine's Day.

At Always Flowers and Gifts, the business they do today accounts for 50 percent of their annual revenue.

It's good money, but owner Ron Carter says they work hard for it.

"We got here at six o'clock this morning, we left last night at midnight or thereabouts. We're trying to get all these orders up and make everybody happy," Carter said.

And, there were, no doubt, a lot of happy recipients today. In case, you're keeping score, about 70 percent of his customers this Valentine's Day have been men, 30 percent women.
